Pzkpfw.II Ausf.J (VK1601) HobbyBoss Kit No.83803

Post by PaulAyrey »

I promised myself I'd clear my current WIP, as I have quite a bit on it prevented me from entering the Tiger I SIG :cry:

Unfortunately I have not bee able to spend much tome painting so I thought I would crack open my Secret Santa gift....just to see what it's like.....I'll just glue that bit....oops it's so good I started it, oh well another WIP added to the list

Front fenders put together. Really impressed by the ease of the kit but without any loss of detail. Have left the track assembly for now to ease painting but also tempted to get a set of Fruils for this;

It's a funny little odd panzer. Almost feel like it belong to sci-fi. What's you plan for weathering?

Hi Gustav, I am going to really, really try my best to be subtle on this one and just have some dust effects.

Rear fenders assembled. I am really loving the size and shape of this little tank, really quite an appealing little cousin of its more well known relatives!

Lower hull now complete, rear a little fiddly trying to get the cable round whilst the PE pinged off then re-glued and whilst doing it your fingers feel three times bigger!
