Tamiya 1/35 6pdrAnti Tank gun diorama

[gerry7944]

This is the 1/35 Tamiya British Anti Tank Gun built out of the box.

The base is a plaster one with rubble and extras added.

I have used Tamiya, Vallejo and Mig pigments on this one.

Looks really good. What material did you use for the rubble?

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.

Much appreciated.

I have a rubble box where I mix all sorts of commercialy available rubble. bashed up red brick fragments, cork pieces, commercialy available 1/35 bricks of different colours, bits of broken balsa wood, model railway balast, cat litter and anything else that looks like rubble. I lay this on the base using watered PVA glue and once dry give it different washes to the colour I want it. I then dry brush it using light grey colours.

Hope this helps.

Very nice. Despite the age of the kit it turned out really well and the diorama adds realism.

Thanks for that.

I like the old Tamiya kits.

They can be picked up for very little money on E bay.
