"Operation Peace for Galilee 1982" in 1/35 scale

[HamilkarBarkas]

I´d like to show you my latest diorama, showing an IDF Sho´t Kal Gimel passing by some Lebanese children during the advance towards Beirut in 1982. The tank model is from AFV-Club, tank crew are modified Meng figures, the children are from MAIM. The road is a vac formed "highway" from Phoenix models, i bought it mainly to test it and to get hold of these awesome looking crash barriers. I tried to keep the techniques i used for this project rather simple, only few fancy products were used. Sometimes i think that the whole "pigment" and "washes" industry is overrated. In the end there is nothing better to represent earth than using real earth!
I made a building review series on Youtube, you can find the videos below. Enjoy

Awesome dio, Michael!
I love how you started with that base and took it to the next level with adding your techniques!
It's just perfect al around. The little plastic bottle is the subtile cream on the pie.
