1/35 Tamiya SAS jeep and crew Diorama

Post by gerry7944 »

This is the 1/35 Tamiya SAS jeep and crew kit built pretty much out of the box apart from a few items from the spares box.

I have used Vallejo and Tamiya paints along with Mig pigments.

The base is wooden with DAS modeling clay and fine grain sand from the pet shop. I used several washes of thinned down Tamiya Desert Yellow and dark yellow to get the colour of the sand right.

Cheers

Gerry

Brilliant again! Looks great, the paint job is amazing and the simple diorama is perfect. Do you reckon one of them is saying, 'hey Frank, you think we got enough guns on this here jeep?' Reminds me of the old Fosters advert where they load up with lager then the 2 bottles of sweet sherry for the ladies breaks the suspension!

You are a storyteller Sir, this is just brilliant!!
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.
