"The delivery" 1/35 scale diorama

[HamilkarBarkas]

Felt like building something without tracks, so i pulled out the Tamiya Krupp Protze truck out of the stash. It was not long in my posession until i built it, got it from a fellow club member in exchange for a hobby boss me 262 few weeks ago. The kit is from 1978, but not as basic as one might think! Every relevant detail is there. I just enhanced the model with some cargo and a canvas cover from BlackDog. This resin set comes with different tires and other accessoires, but i did not use them all. I save the rest for an upcoming project that will also invovle a Krupp Protze truck.
The little diorama depicts a scene from Poland, sometime in 1941. The figure is from Dragon, the shrine is from Adalbertus. Grass, flowers and shrubbery are from Noch, Fredericus Rex and MK35. Earth from my garden was used for the dirt on the diorama. There is nothing better than real earth to depict earth on dioramas and vehicles. Not a single grain of pigments was used on this project, i did all with earth.
