Long Shot - Help pls - Ruined Turrest Zveda SU-2

Guys,

Bit of a long shot - I messed up my Zveda Soviet Bomber SU-2 turret - I know I could ask them for a replacement but am not sure how successful that would be.

Any ideas - I'm more than willing to pay for a replacement for a vac formed version.

Do you have a photo or a more detailed expaination of what happened
I can't tell if it can be fixed if i don't know or see what is wrong
After narket replacements are good but if you don't have to spend the money on it i wouldn't go and order one

Hi Mark,

All the panels completely fogged over after I tried to repair some earlier damage - I will have a look at the after market - many thanks for your advice.

You can try to buff them with some sanding sticks and a buffing stick
If the damage is only on the surface of the part it can be fixed
And if there are spots that you can't reach with the sanders you can use carpolish and a cottonswab/q-tip

Tried everything Mark - it's gone all the way through - looked on the after market - can find masks but no replacement canopies - such is life
