German King Tiger 1:35

Finaly started building my King Tiger.

Ther will be a diorama base with resting tank crew and the tiger on the street.
Its just for fun so the numbers on the tank, the camo and so on ins not hitorical acurate.

I need to get better at taking photos as i go along, the are some gaps in the process.

I finaly took some time and pickedup my Tiger again, there is some thing i want to add but i cant put my finger on it..

Nice job on the big cat
If you are looking to do more weathering, perhaps a wash could be done to your Tiger. An overall 'sludge' wash could help give the Tiger an overall worn look, blend the camo painting together some, as well add contrast to the raised details as the wash will settle in and around the low spots.

Yes. Just putt on some filler and aplyed with the edge of a fine jigsawblade.

Yes, a mid shade brown - Ultimate Dark Dirt, Ammo/Mig Wash for Dark Yellow, etc, are a few ready made products or if you prefer you can make your own washes by thinning oil paints. Raw Umber with a touch of black or Burnt Umber straight would probably be a good start. Thinning the oil paints with Turpenoid works well.
