Decals

Post by Kevthemodeller »

I've been looking for 1/35 WW2 US white serial number deals, everything I've found so far has everything else but, all I want is numbers so I can replicate a particular vehicle.

Any ideas?
Kev

Kevin,

If the mask template Cymru is not quite what you are looking for. I know Archer Fine Transfers make vehicle ID and generic numbers and letter in several colors.

These aren't exactly decals but dry transfers (rub on) markings. Used them myself on the Italeri jeep in build thread here on ISM

As always Happy modeling and keep sticking styreen

I didn't think the type of vehicle would matter to be honest, most lettering/numerals I've every seen are generic just size e.g. 123 ABC on a M4 are the same on an M3, M10 etc. If there not I stand corrected I need them for a M4A3E8.

Kevin, Archer fine transfers would be my first choice ticket for this conundrum  ;) the do very nice 1:35 scale dry transfers

http://www.archertransfers.com/ is there own main page and lists all the set they do in the generic section.

they also have dealers in the UK which should be able to supply the required sets.

They list the following 3 dealers for the UK:

Historex Agents http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxshop.php

SB Models https://www.sbmodels.uk.net/

DCC Suplies http://www.dccsupplies.com/

As the retailers for The Netherlands where hard to contact, I have ordered from them direct in the past, the nice thing was the let foreign customers shop TAX FREE and list a lower sales value to avoid import duties :shhh: .

As always happy modeling and keep sticking styreen.
