Stubbled on it on Printerest. No info other than a circus elephant was used to help with the clean-up after a bomber raid.

If not mistaken and it has been a while since seen the show Hogan's Heroes actually make reference to this zoo bombing with Carter bringing back a Chimp which they dress in Louise's uniform ( beret and red top with french emblem on sleeve
