best clear glue

hi all,

I bought some revell contacta glue for the cockpit of my plane but in a word it's Brad Pitt.... can someone recmoment a good clear glue please?

I have used Kristal Klear from Microscale, that worked pretty good for me. But I don't know if thats the best, so far it is the only one I ever used. I am a newbie in the modeling world.

Contacta is a excellent glue for plastic, NOT clear parts.
Try:
Kristal Klear
Or
Humbrol ClearFix

I beleive at a pinch you can also just use pva glue

I believe tet can be used in small quantities and you are careful.
also watch crystal cement..this sets in 10min, but dries in 24hrs

For clear parts, I typically use a PVA-type glue. Both I believe are US-made products, not sure of their availability in the UK or elsewhere. The first go-to for me is Gators Grip Regular and Thin formula. They go on somewhat milky-white in appearance, but they dry crystal clear. The other is called a hobby/craft glue called Tacky Glue. Its super sticky and is also flexible.
I tend to like both of these for their flexibility, especially when posing a canopy open as if it gets bumped, it doesnt snap off as easily.
