Tamiya 1/35 Sd, Kfz 231

Good afternoon all

Hello to all of you again, after such a long way away from the site.
I have dipped in and out briefly, to look at work going on and tended to view from my mobile.
I recently moved with Mrs Donkeywalloper to a new location in Burton upon Trent, which is our dream house.
The move went very well, thanks to the greatest support and great removal company.
The house is in a quiet lane with striking views of the local countryside.
As some may know, my fight with my inner demons, has been great at times (Bi-Polar) has been like many others here, been helped by modelling and this great fraternity of Brothers and Sisters of Glue and Plastic
I love this site and the happy banter of you chaps.
So with the move, my modelling Man-Cave was packed up and with great gentleness and care transported to our new abode.
I have no M/C at moment. I have a desk and access to kit,but its not the long term goal.
We collapsed a huge shed from our old house, and transported it across town and now it lays in sections at the side of the house.
The plan is, and fully supported by the better half, to set up the shed in the Garden and have power and water on tap. My new Man-Cave.
The start on this project will be the end of August, with the clearing of the area that the base will go down (do ISM have a Man-Cave section yet I could do with some tips in the future if i maybe so bold ).
I have loads of kits in 1/2 finished states and lots of un-started kits.
So back to this nice looking kit.

I have been looking at this kit for sometime now.
Not built any of the German WW2 Reccon vehicles before.
Its a lovely kit.
Its a old Italeria Kit and its been picked up by Tamiya in conjunction with Italeria, it even has a metal turned 2cm KwK30 L55 barrel (should have noticed that, as i bought a metal barrel as well )
I purchased not form my preferred suppliers of emodels but a new supplier in Germany by the name of Modellbau Koenig[url=https://flic.kr/p/Xbtnum]. Superb service and ultra fast delivery, which was well packaged and clear of damage.
I'm umming and ahhing over whether to get the Huzzar Resin wheels as well?
Anyhoo, ill keep uploading on build process and now best to put some meat on the bones so to speak, with some photos.

Yes ISM do have the mane cave section, but unfortunately with the damn Photo bucket disaster most of the pic's are gone. Some have re posted and I'm sure most of us will do that once we have our heads wrapped around the now preferred Flickr site. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=52
I also had this on my most wanted list, but now Bronco have bought out a newly tooled version I'm undecided which way I shall go. So I shall watch this with interest !

Having dropped out for awhile with moves and other stuff, I wondered what had happened to all the photos from Photobucket.
I managed to get Flickr up and running fairly quickly.

Ther is a very good reason you couldn't find it.....I was wrong ! I was thinking of the 6 wheel Krupp Protz
