Ok everybody's chilled a bit so lets get back to the happy stuff of ISM
I was watching some old Live Shows on a rainy Sunday afternoon while I had some alone time cleaning up the model room
The absolute hilarity of it all is what keeps me coming back to ISM. Sprue Surgeons intro, Danno's ongoing comments and roman numeral issues and then the general banter and chit chat are truly hilarious to a modelling nerd like myself. The info, tips tools and tricks that spill out are huge helps to making you a better modeller no matter where you are on the curve
My plug for the live shows :thumb2:

Seems strange to me; I've not been able to be in a hangout since Mark came along but it seemed pretty obvious to me that it was his idea/personality to do that intro.

It was great!

....and hilarious.
You guys said it was all his idea, so no reason to be upset other than to just bitch
I forgot Ivan's appearance in drag...that was a real eye opener and I bet it flipped a few stodgy folk out as well
Wish I were a smidgen more technically savvy and motivated to get into hangouts...the time zones are killer
I pop in and out of ISM and live shows during little breaks in my work day as time allows....great stress breaker and fun

Nurse! Nurse! Mr Stokes has been out in the sun again!
You know it baby! The music round the pool has been an assault on the ears today. We've had 'He got a big bamboo', followed by 'Oh my god, look at her butt', rounded off by a reggae sampled version of an Adele song! :o

I'm off to my room so I can sit on my balcony and listen to the the limited edition soundtrack from The Empire Strikes Back! Equilibrium shall be restored. 8-)

On a more serious note, Paul's videos lead me here when I was getting back into the hobby. I stayed because it's a cool place to A, learn and B, boggle at all the people who are much better than me.

I also stayed because I made some new mates.

Cheers fellas.

The way that some threads go a little wayward from time to time is actually one of the appeals of this place for me so technically it's all in keeping with the original question :shifty:
