Finally have done progress to show! Was losing the mojo a little, but coming back full force. Hoping to be I primer and maybe base color by the weekend.

The silver is alclad airframe aluminium sprayed straight to plastic and sealed, cockpit is MIG Cockpit turquoise.

Felt like the last one died because I wasn't happy with the paint color or my weathering, this one is going much better, trying to keep up with all of your builds, yours is looking awesome btw!

Forgot to show what i used for nose weight before i shut the fuselage up, I believe these are 138gr .38 Special semi wadcutter. Fits snuggly in the nose and held in place with a glob of CA Glue.

Small update on the MIG, Got some black Ultimate Primer on yesterday in prep for paint, thinking tomorrow i can get the base color and masked for the second. build has slowed down as im getting ready to move my whole operation into the basement and into a fresh room that i am making for my model building. with the little one due in 13 weeks or less ive been flogged to get our bedroom finished and model room done and moved, but itll all be worth it in the end and you might get to see some of my littleun in the hangouts.

so here we are bottom colored and top color along with masks applied. also working on getting the second color on today nowhere near the finish but nice to finally be happy with a mig 21 build. might do another.

Some small but good progress, work and house remodel for upcoming parent hood is taking its toll on my model time but im sneaking some in when i can. I really want to see this through as the last eduard MiG i binned at the final stage( really shouldnt have but lost interest when the paint and weathering werent that great.). And this scheme really called to me when i was looking through kits and was even more get go when i saw the new paint mask for it. But here i sit on my laptop in the Las Vegas airport waiting for my next flight uploading progress pics to you fine plastic pushers! She's ready for the green camo when i get home, For 1.5 days.......

thanks guys, going much better than my last one, interested to see how the Bearcat goes Bret as ive wanted to build one, wish I was in the birthday pool this year, maybe ill get one for secret santa,lol
