Ism Friday's night live at the bench what have you been working on for *March 16th*

Post by Kingdan »

"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?”

NEW! Starting this upcoming Friday, the Live! Crew will not only review your work, they will also pick their favorite build for the week. The entry with the most votes will win an ISM Goodie Bag! It is just one more reason to show us your work each week, so what are you waiting for?

**Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, March 16th**

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew.

Monogram B-58 Hustler 1/48 scale SAC Delta Wing Bomber. Paintwork is A-K Xtreme Metals.
It's almost there, the Caracal decals went on great, the're printed by Cartograf,
so that's to be expected. She's ready for final clear, adding the last few parts,
tank, pitot tube, bombs and burner cans, a few details to be painted, and lastly peel off the window masks.
The Hustler should be wrapped up by the weekend!

Finished a 1/48 Tamiya JGSDF Type 10 tank. Airbrushed Tamiya paints, Mig weathering wash and pigments. My first try doing a stretched sprue antenna and painting 1/48 figure. I'm satisfied with how it turned out. I may have to try another 1/48 armor kit soon.

Continuation of Tamiya 1/20 Lotus Type LXXIX.... :shifty:
Sorry to be cheeky Danno, Type 79 (50+20+9)
Big thank you to Paul for his great video on decanting Tamiya spray cans. It was dead easy after he gave me the confidence to try :cheers2: Paul.
You can spray that paint undiluted even in my H/S Ultra with a 0.2 needle.
Silver here is Mr Metal Color Aluminum...lovely stuff indeed to spray

Lots of small sub assemblies done and I am front to back in the instructions as I try to keep the build moving forwards
Waiting on some detail stuff for the engine plumbing and some 2 part clear from Gravity...for 4 months now :
Wish everyone a good weekend, I have a week off work for Spring Break
But she has me digging in the garden planting stuff  watch you guys on the rebound

Hello Guys!

I have finished the Zvezda 1/72 Yak-130 "Mitten", Belarusian Airforce colour scheme.

Painted with Gunze paints and I did a minimalistic oilwash weathering, since I wanted it to look like reference photos I have found. I really great kit, not super-easy to build, but a very pleasant experience nevertheless :) I can really recommend it.

AKA Al MacNeish/Alphonso
1/48 Eduard Mig-21R ProfiPACK with Montex Decals

Last tri-camo effort I was not happy with so after stripping back with MLT and re-priming with Mr Surfacer here's the current stage. MRP paints and decalling started (with the thinnest decals I've ever encountered). To be continued.......

Been working on a couple of 1/48 Aero Bonus resin figures for my Academy F-4B Phantom. Painted in Ultimate black primer, Vallejo oliv drab, gloss white, gloss black, dark orange, light grey and AK flesh. They where then dry brushed using lightened versions of the base colors and finally given a dark brown oil wash. There is still a little bit of detailing left to do before they get dropped into the cockpit.

Tamiya leyton house with PE parts from studio 27.

I've been prepping parts by drilling holes for cables and for the radiator plumbing.
fixed the the PE to the engine cam covers, wing end plates and the rear wing.
I've made a bulk head that goes in front of the front suspension from plastic card and have ordered some master cylinder bottles from the 3D printer store Shapways.
Have sprayed all the parts in Ultimate gray primer.
