Got this one finished last night. It was a really nice kit, typical modern Tamiya fit.

Man, the clothes on those figures look so real that I initially thought the first photo was a reference pic! Incredible!

What did you use to bring out the wrinkles and folds? Some kind of wash?

Yes, AK or Mig (can't remember which) Wash for Dark Green Vehicles. I let it sit for a while then rubbed off as much as I could with a cotton bud.

Being an ex-artilleryman (FDC actually), this gives me a warm feeling. Very nicely done; not only the modeling skills but also the diorama itself is well thought out. Looking at the quadrant of the barrel and the un-cut powder charge, this is going to be a long distance shot.

Simply beautiful....
