Finishing the last of the Battlestars - ironically the very first of them, the original one from the 1970's series.
Like the others its from Moebius Models in 1/4105 scale. And of the 3 Battlestar kits this was the worst one for parts fit - it was a fight from start to finish during assembly.
Finish is Vallejo Model Colour "Off White" - another first for me as its the first time I used an airbrush.. Waiting for more paint to be delivered so I can finish the underside off then try my hand at weathering again to break the monotony of that white expanse.

Good evening all.
This is my Fujimi 1/24 GT40 that I have been attempting to rescue over the last few weeks following another 2k failure. After several hours of flatting with various abrasives it became obvious that it was not recoverable so I stripped the shell and started again.
Completed out of the box using Ultimate black primer, LP black and silver (for the main stripes), a new set of Shunko decals followed by Zero Diamond 2k. Thanks to Paul for the warning about fitting the shell but I still managed to re kit most of the chassis in the process!
This is the last of my recycled kits for a while as whilst its very satisfying to complete a kit that returned to the box following a cock up, I feel the need for something fresh next week.

Howdy all!

Just started a Pig Models 1/1 scale 76.2mm HVAP-T UBR-354P for the late WWII GB. This shell was used in the Soviet T-34/76 tank.

The kit only has 4 parts; but, it takes a ton of sanding on the ejector marks and seam lines. Picture is of the 76.2mm (right, unpainted) next to a Tiger I shell (left, complete) from the same company.

I was very surprised with the disparity between the guns on two very popular WWII tanks.

Evening Dan et al!

So I finished the Italeri 1/24 Lancia Delta earlier in the week and then moved on to finishing the Tamiya 1/24 rally mechanics.

Two mechanics were matched with the Marcus Gronholm's 2003 Peugeot 206 in 1/24 by Heller. The other two mechanics are working on Richard Burns' 1999 Impreza in 1/24 by Tamiya. The driver is based on the late Richard Burns himself.

I hope to turn them into a more permanent rally diorama some point in the future.

1/32 Tamiya F-15E Eagle - nose cone joined to cockpit and cockpit joined to fuselage. Copious amounts of sprue glue used, sanded and re-applied, especially on the Radar Warning Receivers at the back. They just don't fit at all - it's almost like a different scale was used for them Calm yourself Al........

Good evening Dan ScattersTidy! Been working on the engine of the McLaren MP4/4 by Tamiya. 1/20 scale.

Got the bulk of the detailing and resin details added, just some wiring and piping left! I'm using the Top Studio super detail set and it's brilliant! Being my 5th model and this and all previous models using a detail set, number 6 may just be OOB.. Maybe

tamiya t-55 1/48 scale
primed in Ultimate grey
painted in tamiya lp paints
weathered with Ultimate rust (on the tracks) and earth with some citadel nun oil and seraphim sepia
all sprayed with the Ultimate apex airbrush
its a great little kit and I'm happy with the result for a none armour modeller
