I'll go first this week with this
Tamiya 1/6 scale dax Honda 70
Primed with Ultimate grey
Painted with mostly tamiya lp paints with a couple of mr hobby super metalics
Clear coated with gx100 thinned with mlt
All fired through my Ultimate apex
It's been a real pleasure to build this big little kit and would recommend it to anyone 🙃

Having a headache with T34 tracks... I invested in a set of Friul metal tracks to see if it would fix the problem - now I have the different headache of trying to piece them together properly! :lol: :lol:

    Good evening All
    Took a break from the CLK GTR to try something new. My first tank for over 45 yrs and a first attempt at weathering.
    A Tamiya 1/35 Panzer 2 f, an old kit but cheap and cheerful for a first attempt. I started with the intention of keeping weathering to a minimum but got a bit carried away trying out different things and it all got a bit dirty! Very different to my usual car modelling but I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot on the way (but evidently not yet when to stop).
    Paints were Ultimate grey primer, Tamiya XF German Grey base coat then Winton oils and some old pigments i had for furniture making for the decoration.
    Thanks for looking, have a great evening

    After a bit of a headache breaking a re-gluing parts on the GMC, I went back to do a little on the Sherman.

    1/35 Academy M4A3 Sherman with Calliope.

    Have made my own sand bags with Milliput and side baskets out of styrene. Also a tool box on the rear out of styrene sheet.
    Cast texture on turret, front of hull and around hull hatches enhanced a little with Tamiya grey putty mixed with styrene glue.

    Paint wise it has been done with Lifecolor olive drab shades, dark shade first, chipping fluid and then the lighter shade over the top, then chipped with water and a brush of course. The barrel still needs doing, but will use a brush and sponge to do it.

    I certainly have gotten an interest in modelling again, just everything else gets in the way. Such as an early Saturday morning start at a pit tomorrow, but will watch the show when I get home later in the day.

    Cheers
    Matt

    Good evening safe and secure modellers.

    Why make one model when you can make more than one? So here are two RS Models 1/72 Dewoitine 520s. The closer one represents one flying with the Free French Goupe Doret in the Toulouse-Blagnac area in late 1944 and the one behind represents a Dewoitine flying for the 82 Squadriglio of the Reiga Aeronautica from Metato in 1943. The paints are from the MRP Luftwaffe range, not bad paints either.

    Good evening all

    Italeri R5 Alpine Rally 1/24 (1977?). Paints primer Tamiya pink -> AK 3rd's black - deep yellow - deep red -> TS-13.

    Now I understand why you guys don't like Italeri kits, lessons learned.

    Another one off the bench and another video build done.
    Not a bad kit for an older tooling, but still a Revell kit at the end of the day and had some issues here and there.
    Two things I will change, I will drill out the exhausts, I did think there were end trims chrome but there are not and something needs doing with the wipers as they look crap lol, try replace with something out my spares
    Very happy with the colour it was a great suggestion by the great Flog Clinton Eales and exactly the kind of colour I was looking for.
    * 1/25 Revell Chevy Impala
    * Primed in Ultimate White primer
    * Base painted in TS-41 Coral Blue
    * Gravity Spain 2k Clear
    * Baremetal foil for trim
    * Kit chromed parts everywhere else
    * Interior painted in Tamiyas LP-39
    * Painted using Ultimate Modelling Apex Airbrushes
    * Polished with the Ultimate Modelling Polish System

    Good evening Dan and all,
    My Revell Ferrari F40 1/24 for the group build is now finished.
    It's an OK kit, based on the prototype car. I made a mistake not opening the rear cowl first but decided I'd rather it looked good closed than open.

    Body is done in Wilko gloss red enamel and Mr Super clear gloss. There are photo etch buckles and key holes from Tamiya and MFH and I replaced the rear grille with steel mesh. Video should be up this weekend maybe...

    Thanks for reading!
