Good evening Dan, I did a model thing! Calling a finish on the Academy 1/35 Jagdpanzer 38t Hetzer. Light weathering with AK pencils and assorted pigments. It is sitting on the Miniart diorama with wall base, added static grass and leaves. Relieved to finish that ambush camo pattern, but overall an enjoyable build and the first I have completed for a while.

Evening Dan. This week I finished the 1/32 Tamiya F-16CJ. OOB with the exception of the Afterburner decals. Painted with Hataka lacquer paints.

Howdy all!

I'm making some progress on the Italeri F7F-3 Tigercat. This one is nearly finished!

Primed in Ultimate Matte Black, painted in MMP USN/USMC Sea Blue, top coat of Model Masters Semi-Gloss. Weathering to come next.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Good evening cheerful modellers

This evening here is the 1/72 Hasegawa Vought XF5U-1. The overall colour is SMS Dark Sea Blue over a base coat of Tamiya rattle can gloss black. It's a fragile little thing and already two of the tail fin counterweights have been claimed by the carpet monster. I'll scratch build new ones when I can work up the enthusiasm to do it.

Good Evening All

Finished the Tamiya 1/12 Yamaha YZF R1 this week. Really enjoyed making this model as a break from the cars and learnt a lot especially as I have never owned a full size motorbike. If the quality of this kit is anything to go by I can't wait to try one of Tamiya's more recent offerings.
Paints used were Ultimate primers, Tamiya LPs and a few Mr Color super metallics. Main colour is Pure Red with LP9 clear as a change from 2k, really happy with the way it polished up.
Thanks for looking, have a great evening.

I didn't get this finished as fast as planned, but we're almost there. This is my 1/35 MiniArt M3 Grant, painted to match an 'unidentified unit' from the instructions. All the details are out of the box, but I've left out the most complicated details so I could go faster. What I did include is enough to stretch my skills. I primed with a white Tamiya spray to stick well to the PE, but the rest of the products are mission models paints. Desert Sand base coat, Azure Blue pattern/highlight, and a brown "wash" applied with a brush. After I finish the wash, we'll get a varnish and the tracks installed, and then AK sand enamel to finish.
