1/35th Railway track ballast/rocks - advice needed

Post by Pacman9a »

Hi, I have a Tamiya p204(f) railway armoured vehicle kit in the stash and wondered if anyone has any suggestions for what to use for 1/35 scale ballast or whatever the rocks that fill in the bits between the sleepers are called?

Thanks
Paul

I always though kitty litter material would be ok. Easy to sieve or take a hammer to crush into smaller pieces.

Look for Jef V Corner Store on YouTube. He is doing a 1/32 railway scene right now. He used kitty litter.

Yep crushed kitty litter or aquarium gravel is something else that might work.
