Okay, I'm in...maybe.

So, I haven't done any modelling in the last 18 months, which coincidences with Talla's arrival. Now that she's willing to go without constant attention I can probably get some modelling done. The culprit:

I just ordered some kits for the build, hopefully they arrive soon enough to allow me to finish before the end date:

and

to which I'll add some sand and camo nets.

I'll do the usual sprue shots when they arrive.

You are lucky!! We've had Maggie with us for over 2 years and she STILL can't be left alone...
Thankfully she leaves the models alone. :)

Lovely pic of Talla - and a great classic kit from Tamiya too.

Hope you manage to find the time to put it all together :th:

I started with the gun, that way I can also do the figures (gunner and loader) that need to fit the gun if I get bored with the vehicle and want to do the figures for a break.
I went with the muzzle brake, which it turns out was introduced in 1942 on the Mk.2, so some of them might have made it to the desert before the bangs were finished there.
Being an old Tamiya, the muzzle brake, along with being 2 pieces had only the suggestion of the ports:
    Image

So after leaving enough time for the glue to set I went to work with the drill bits:
    Image

Now you can see right through it from the side, as it should be.

Nice work on the muzzle break. Its the little things that make the kit so much more real looking.

Having heard no objections, this build will be extended by 6 weeks. It will now end on 07.12.2021 at Midnight GMT.
