Tarangus Saab Viggen 1/48 Engine

I am building the Tarangus Saab Viggen 1/48 kit and encouraged by Paul have bought several of the Maestro aftermarket sets
I am working on the engine and have followed Paul’s instructions for the thrust reversers, however I am puzzled by the pe parts for the engine. The kit part has these moulded so do I fit the pe parts over these or do I need to buy a resin replacement for the rear section of the engine?
