Uschi ven der Rosten

Post by kiwi37 »

Hi all
I don't like making these sorts of posts but I feel I have been ripped off. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt as I know people get busy, things can get in the way etc.

Basically after ordering from Alex over 2 weeks ago, I've not had any communication from him - no tracking details or replies to:
Email
Messenger on his Facebook site
Message sent through on his website.

The funds were taken from my credit card immediately and I received an email stating I would hear again when the order was dispatched. The product was, and still is, in stock and the website states shipping within 1-3 working days. I realise that shipping times are all over the place at the moment, but it appears my order hasn't even dispatched yet.

I've requested a refund but not heard back so will now have to try and recover the funds back from my credit card company, which is a shame as his products look good and I would have more than likely ordered more in the future if my experience had been better.

In the interest of fairness, I will delete or edit the post if Alex finally makes contact with me.

Has anyone else experienced this from Uschi ven der Rosten?

No I had a bad experience from the delivery company. My kit arrived soaked right through the box falling apart. It was the tank transporter.
He sent me a set of replacement decals, plus a couple of other items I never asked for. I had a positive experience.

That's cool, glad you had a good experience as often sellers will not compensate when it's damaged caused in transit.
I'm still yet to get a reply despite contacting him multiple times over the last few weeks on different platforms. I cannot post directly on his FB page but have noticed others who have commented on his posts that seem to have the same experience as myself. One of whom I contacted through messenger and he mentioned that after months of no contact, he had to go through the reversal of payment through his credit card company.
I'm at a loss to why someone who is in business would treat your customers this way. Had he contacted me to advise he was out of stock, or too busy to complete my order I would have accepted that and waited for however long it took. I also recently placed an order with a company in the UK who advised me straight away that they were having problems after the recent Royal Mail cyber attack and that they would post as soon as possible. They have now sent my order and I will definitely use them again as they were straight up and honest.

I agree its not good. You never know what can happen within someones life. He could have died and you'd never know. The website would just keep rolling on. I hope you end up with a positive outcome.

Thanks for the reply Cor. I agree, things that we can't possibly know about are happening to people all the time. In my original post I did state that I know people can get busy and things get in the way. I just don't think that's the case here as he is still active on his own FB page.
