Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-8 in 1:32 (Revell)

My latest model: The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in 1:32 (kit: Revell).






I photographed it against various backgrounds, including a night scene. The Fw 190 was the second standard fighter of the German Luftwaffe next to the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in WWII.
In service, the Fw 190 quickly showed a number of advantages over the Bf 109. For example, it had a greater top speed at low and medium altitudes, and its maneuverability around the longitudinal axis and firepower were also much better. The latter, however, possessed the advantages over the Fw 190 of better climb performance and, above all, superior altitude performance.
A particularly important position in the history of the Fw 190 is occupied by its use in the so-called "Reich defense" against bomber attacks by the USAAF and the RAF. In this context, the Fw 190 was used as both a day and night fighter (Wikipedia).
