well i've been staring at two boxes for the last couple of weeks and could not decide which one to start. it was a toss up between academy a-10, and the tamiya f-35B. i have been rearranging the cave the last couple of weeks and can't get to the a-10, so the tamiya wins through default.
she's a beauty that's for sure. building it out of the box except for the decals, i picked up a set of furball anthology decals looking for something a little more colorful. is it weird i buy most of my kits based on the paint job? so here are a few sprue shots some from the instructions, and the decals.











what i really like about the kit is the different ways to display it, i'm going for the in air landing. well wish me luck

off to a good start, went thru the first ten steps, and prepped the the parts for paint, so off to the booth and get some primer laid on

I said 'Banger' but lets not split hairs

Its been put in the same bracket as when Tamiya released their new tool 1/48 Mk 1 Spitfire, a real game changer. If I was into jets I'd definitely have one.

Nice start to the build. Clean and organised, a Krusty special on the way

Not a fan of the 35 at all. Wont be on my list. BUT, I am curious to see how this goes.

I don't build jets either , but I have 2 in the stash. A Chinese dragon thingy and a Trumpeter Harrier. Out of all the jets I only really go for the Harrier and the f-14 Tomcat which I don't have, but I think I like it because of all the JAG tv episodes I watched.


Ps....I don't count the A-10 as that was a special case.
