Tamiya Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin

Post by Kevthemodeller »

Here's the finished kit, the build thread HERE

It's a nice kit but I was surprised and left disappointed with certain aspects of the kit mostly the decals they're rubbish. Other areas PE should have been supplied especially on a kit costing as this does and it being Tamiya who were by far the market leader in bikes kits. Overall a very nice kit, but it isn't an easy some parts (wheels) are a real challenged to assemble and protect the metallic finishes, that issues extends to a lot of the kit. It's heavy once you get the front end on which makes it very easy to damaged while handling it and attaching parts. Would I recommend it................. Yes but it's a real challenge, which is why we model right  :thumb1:

Top notch work there Kev, especially with the issues you came up against. It must make a really nice display piece in your home.
