What would be the best dakota (C47)?

Post by UKscalemodeller »

On this day, when I remember one Grandfather who flew Dakotas and one then jumped from them, I was wondering which would be the best Dakota/C-47 kit on the market?

Does anyone have experience of good or bad ones. I hear that the 'new' airfix one is just a reboxing.

Many thanks for any advice.

I thought the new Airfix one was a new tooling.

Other than that I don't really know what others there are

It's a re-release of the Italeri sprue Dakota just with different (and Cartograph) decals ... so a win win situation

Its a decent tooling then?

if so methinks that and some 1/72 paras may have to be purchased.
