Revell Ford GT LM 2017

Post by marcowine »

I've been working on this on and off for the past 3 weeks. I'm alternating work on this, the Fiat 131 rally and the Ducati 1199. This has been an interesting kit, at times really fun and other times quite frustrating. I'm finding the general fit and finish to be quite a bit lacking compared to the Tamiya kits, but every now and then surprisingly good.

As with most of my builds, I deviated a bit from the painting instructions to add a little more visual interest. I'm finishing up the clear coat on the body and will post some more shots once I can handle that.

Cheers
Marco
There may indeed be some insanity involved, but I am without a doubt having fun.

I'm getting close to finishing this one. I still need to do the rear wing, side mirrors and a few other little touches.

That's very nice indeed    I'm yet to tackle a car kit although I've recently picked up a couple.
