AMT/ERTL 1/48 S-3A Viking

So I have had this kit laying around for years. And over those years I have collected the true details cockpit and the scale aircraft conversions metal LG. I really wanted to do a S-3B in low vis markings but I can't find the two mikes conversion set anywhere, so I'm going to do the A version, and just ordered up some decals from CAMS. I really dislike the scheme that comes with the box. So with out further ado, here are the pics of the cockpit kit/spreue shots. I'm really looking forward to building this one.

Thanks Gav, I remember I built one as a kid, but it was so long ago and who knows where the model ended up. It's my first time really diving into this much resin, so it's going to be a bit of a learning experience for me

So I started with the fuse as the cockpit slips in when it's built. The good is the fit of the fuse half's is fantastic. There are virtually no seams after a light sanding. The bad news is, I wanted to keep the bomb bay doors closed on this bird, and the fit isn't the greatest. It'll take a little filling, sanding, and rescribing, but not really too bad.

That's looking great, it's always nice when a fuselage fits well
