Seasonal Tornado!

Post by PhildaFish »

So here it is, my Seasonal Tornado which has grown into a trio of builds after I was given 2 stalled 1:144 jets, an F-4 and an F-16, which will be gracing the Churchill family Christmas tree this year and for many more years I hope! In between silly seasons they will be hanging on the Ficus benjamina next to my desk where they catch the sunlight.

So there you are, modelling related Christmas decorations to remind us all how lucky we are to have come through the Cold War with no nuclear holocaust. I warned you it was silly.

Image

Not part of the GB but here are the three Christmas Decorations in three different shiny metallic finishes:

I hope that you all like what I've done and, perhaps, been inspired to make your own Christmas tree decorations.

AWESOME nice work Phil, I actually hadn't guessed this is what you would do - even when you applied the gold I was certain it would be for a large key ring or something. Your ideas are inspired  :

Cheers DC, but I think your spell check is working overtime - it's put 'inspired' when I think you meant 'insane'!

Hey Guppy, my cousin and her husband just got reposted from RAF Wittering to Odiham last week... :D
At the moment she keeps moaning about all the False Widow Spiders and the 3 mile round trip twice aday across fields to the local school...
But she so loves being with all those lovely Chinooks... RAF Wittering is like a ghost town now the Harriers are no more.. :(
