Tamiya F4U-1A Finished

Post by greghatt »

Well gents,

The corsair is done. I almost feel like building another one to prove to this plane who's the boss :? Anyhow, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and I think it'll look good sitting next to the Hellcat. Hope you like it.

PS, don't mind my photography skills. As you can see they're not quite up to par haha

Thanks a lot guys. It was a fun build even though I had a few set backs. I really like the navy birds, so I think I'm going to start doing a few of them. There's a Pro Modeler Helldiver on the shelf I might have to pick up soon.

But now that you're done, what's next?!?! T-33?!
I really like the cockpit, is that aftermarket?

Sweet work, sir!!

Thanks Mikey! Nope it's a stock cockpit. Thats why I love tamiya, they look great right out of the box. And yah, I have the S-3a on the go, and the t-33 is gonna get broken out asap.
