My son's Revell Millennium Falcon

[Lee]

Had a few spare hours with my boy (Josh) today and we decided to get his Millennium Falcon done.

He did all the instructions, cutting from the sprue and fitting together and I did all the gluing. It's the first time he's done the majority of a build and he really enjoyed it and hung in there right to the end, took us a couple of hours.

He's really chuffed with it and I promised him I'd put it up on the site for him

Aren't I a proud Dad...

[Schoof]

i hope you are

Great work

[Coen]

That is a sweet machine guys.
I seem to remember making one or two of those.

I wish my Josh would show more of an interest instead of Minecraft rubbish....

Well done again Josh, get Daddy to give you a 5 minute "young modellers" slot in the monthly news video for all the other under 10's on here.
Nige, your kids would love it, others have had their kids post here too ....

Fantastic build and so big for a first kit....

Great stuff, looks like a whole bunch of fun was had by all. Now, next up, just let Josh loose on all of those paints

Good job Josh?

What's the next build then? How about having a go at that small railway gun your dad bought a few weeks ago?

[FatFingaz]

Thats an excellent build!

Showed my kids and the first thing they noticed was not the huge spaceship but how cool his t-shirt is!

I've always thought the Falcon was the coolest sci-fi ship of all time, though I've recently had to tie it with the Enterprise NCC-1701E. Good job! (Trying desperately to find models to interest my teen grandsons; force them to come up for air from the X-Box, LOL)!
