PZL 23 "karas" 1/72 Heller

Post by Drunkmaster »

Hello everyone, my name is Paul and I live in Poland, I build models from five months and I'm a beginner in this hobby.
I will present to you Polish plane of the Second World War - PZL 23 Karas, it was a light bomber and the first aircraft who dropped bombs on German territory during the war.
I painted it with a brush. All additions were made by hand. I did it for the first time so it is not perfectly.

Thank you for your warm welcome, currently I'm working on Messerschmitt BF110 in winter camouflage, but for that I've been using an airbrush.

Great work Paweł!

That's a masterpiece!

If you don't mind asking - what paints did you use to simulate Polish camo (I've just started building PZL.23 in 1/48 from Mirage and struggling with their suggestions...)?

Cheers,
Radek

Thank you all for your comments and good acceptance on the forum :cheers2:

Radzy I used Pactra paint, colors;

Polish khaki II, Pactra A069
Polish Blue II, Pactra A070

Shades of Polish aircraft were dependent on the years of production, and so until 1936 used the lighter shades in 1937-1939 was darker shade, good choice in my opinion for this aicraft is Polish khaki II. But the best choice is the color of the paint, which is called Molak Dark Earth. Unfortunately, it was hard to buy this color :(
Pozdrawiam :D

I greet and wish you a nice weekend
