StuG IV early production in '45 colors

Post by MarkVerploeg »

this is my recently finished Stug IV early production
it is made from the old emperial series kit by dragon
it then was updated using a lion roar pe kit for the schürtzen, friul tracks and atak zimmerit set
paint was done with AK's 1945 german colors exept for the red brown that is from tamiya
weatering was done with mig productions washes and pigments and some AK washes
it is sepossed to portrait a long term surviving vehicle that was repainted in the early months of 45

Unbelievable work! Wow that paint job is inspiring! And the figures and stowage really bring it to life even more.

thanks guys
and yes these colors a very eye catching the downside to the color kit they came in is the red brown that turns out orange rust like
and these color where used for just a short time but on almost all kinds of vehicles as many old an aged vehicles came back to service
cheers Mark

thanks dude
the zimmerit is from a atak kit so it looks nice
but i used a old kit as a base and i had a boo boo with it
i thought i could puch the upper back plate into place but since it was a resin part
it snapt ofcourse and when that happens you can use the almighty camonetting to cover it up
but i am pleased with it my self since there is some stuff on it i don't always use
cheers Mark
