Revell 1:48 A10

As my spitfire for the GB is drying from filler and primer I thought I start the revell A10 I've had it a while and I thought I'd get it down and build it. What a great idea it turned out to be it fighting me every step of the way had to cut a bit out of fuselage to fit the cockpit tub and just clued the two half's together what fun that was did not line up at all and when I managed to get it sorted useing tape and clamps to hold it together the clamps kept pinging off nearly threw it against the wall Has anybody else done this kit and can you tell me what to look out for so at least I have some advance warning.

Put at least a ton of weight in the nose! Literally!
I put a fair bit in mine, but still ended up threading solder wire up through the nose wheel bay to keep the tail up! You do get a clear rod to hold the tail up, but I think it's looks stupid like that. Just me tho!
Also be careful if you try drilling the cannon barrels out. I messed up and could only find a five barrel cannon in brass to replace it with. It's that small you can't tell though!
Italeri do a detail kit with full engines and cannon but I'm not sure if it'll fit the Revell kit. Looks nice tho!
