so time for an update. Yesterday i sorted out the pieces of the cockpit that have generaly the same colour. i use revell colour because it's avaliable in a store nearby. but to get the fusilage colour i had to mix 3into one (hate it when they don't have an original colour that is used so much in a build)

Image
painted it with my airbrush (did murals befor so got three to chose from)but afterwards i found a picture on wiki that showed that the fueltanks are brickred. well i took my paintbrush and hope when it's dry it's done evenly.

Image
paint still wet.

Image
lots of detailing to do. Maybe ill start on it tonight. just have to figure out how to do a wash. what do you guys recomend. i have 1 dark gray wash of the valejo brand. but i can also make it with oilpaint and alcohol or acrylic airbrush paint diluded with water. any sugestions?

thanx for watching and hope to do an update tomorrow

Looking great so far. As the interior is a very light green maybe the Vallejo grey wash will do a good job.

Nice start.

Washes are really a personal choice I use alot of Acrylic washes as the dry quick and are easy to clean up with water.

Oil based washes great if you don't mind the smell lol.

I would do any wash over a gloss coat though to improve the flow of the wash and ease clean up.
