Relaxing Scout Trooper

Ok ! here is an Old friend of mine....

I worked on him for a good 6 months... none stop !

I was obsess with Gentle Giant scout figure sitting on his bike but could not afford a 200$+ figure and decided to make my own ! in the same relaxed pose ! a sort of homage..

I am very proud of it and most peoples like it !

He too came from a Kit attempt ! but that failed as well !!! not everyones cup of tea !
bad timing in a bad economy ! No licenses either... which didn't help ! LOL

better that way....

From Humble beginning to almost Canon ! my own take on star wars figure making...

It took a while to get the figure to stand its own ground and feel at home on the bike... and the overall effect is what I was after.... I'm glad I attempted such a project as it has brought me great joy and a sense of accomplishment ! I might never repeat such a feat ! but its all water under the bridge now !!! more projects awaits....

Why, oh why did you not make resin casts of these AWESOME figures......!!!!???????!!!!

You could have made a fortune, just from me.....lol

It was very tempting but.... Licensing is Why ! Black market is tempting but
I have too much respect for Lucas and his team !

I consider this stuff more of an Homage !

it was fun and I hope this won't be the last of them....?

Later my friend !

I might do a Video with them Holding them and showing off with Better Close ups and stuff like that
just to immortalize them on YT.

It is an insult to call this a model, it is a work of art Norm.
When you get time I would love to see some close ups.

I will try that when my NEW acquisition (old russian made) Helios 44-2 f2 58mm. Lens gets here from Ukraine! In a few weeks.
The Bokeh is wicked! I can't wait to Re-do the Scouts Portraits with it!
