Revell 1:32 Piper PA-18 Super Cub build log

Having spent many hours flying Cubs around I thought I would give one a crack.

I had many photos and 2 video's to paste into the build thread, but a SD card decided No and pooped itself ....Sigh

So ill pick up this build log from now.

Motor almost complete, just some inlet and exhaust piping to fit and paint.

Thanks Rob, I took a break away from normal life today and got more done.

Also cracked out the big camera to take better pictures.

The 2 fuselage halves came together today, fire wall in and painted





Finished sticking the exhaust and intake manifolds of to the core of the motor, finished paint touch ups and is ready to mount on the firewall

Well last night while the missus was out i got some more done











Cowls were a absolute bitch to fit, the engine front baffles are two long, I had to trim them down to fit the nose bowl.
Some putty will be required to flush the cowls off....

Neat! I agree that it's nice to see a civie aircraft and the Cub is as iconic as you can get. As Max Stanley said, it's the safest airplane you can fly...it can just barely kill you?
