Long time no comment lol
Whilst wife watches some RomCom, I sat and read your thread all the way through. A really talented and wonderful write up. You have real skills and a great way with words. Thank you for an entertaining Sunday evening :cheers2: .
Cheers DW, really appreciate your kind words. Apologies it took me so long to reply, started a new job a couple of months ago, and you know what it's like. Gotta work to pay the man! :wall: :cheers2:

Fantastic build - awesome finish. Some really subtle weathering to bring out the details. Looks great.

One small question though: don't Fehrmann Tigers have turret "F" markings? I thought they did - could well be wrong though (I usually am!).

Thanks John. I think you'll enjoy it, it's a good kit. My only advice - fix the suspension in place as it makes fitting the tracks much easier. You'll nail it either way! :th: :th: :cheers2:

Thanks Cygnus! :cheers2:

You are absolutely right, all of these Tigers had F markings. When it comes to decals on German WWII armour, I'm pretty lazy. A lot of times I leave them off. My excuse - it makes them seem more "weathered" ! :th:

Much appreciated advice Alex.
The box is winking at me from top shelf and I may after M60A1 have a bash at cheap Tamiya Mid Production Tiger 1 just to get me back in Tiger frame of mind.
I shall, once starting RFM, follow your blog closely.
Hope new job going well?
Remember the advice with starting new jobs. It takes 1 week for every week that you have been on this earth to settle into a job. It basically, means that the older you get the longer it takes to settle. Seems obvious but its something to remember. Good luck anyway.
