Do you think you would consider maybe getting a new one in the future and maybe using the experiences learned from the earlier build ?

looking great Shane, i know the feeling of pieces shooting off into the unknown :( i saw (Coen's) latest video of his work place and he uses sheet pinned to his desk, but even with that we will still loose bits, i have lost count of how many have shot off, :eeek:

This looks a great kit and i like the etch detail, so im looking forward to more updates less swearing  not that i do  thanks for making me laugh.

Looks great Shane - my, you seem like to take on complex kits!

Excuse my ignorance, but on the prototype, what is the purpose of the rising rail on top of the front the fender on this photo? Cheers

Hiya all

have some progress to share with you, the first elements of weathering are done, firstly all the panel lines and weld seams with Mig shadow brown oil, scratches were also picked out in German Camo brown a with fine brush and applied with sponge for heavier wear

Freaking awesome Shane!!!!! :eeek: :th: :th:

Can't believe I've missed this one, there's so much good stuff to look at and watch on this forum, gems like this slip through the net sometimes. Love the colouring and the weathering is excellent, stowage looks very natural (great tarps!) and the detail on the figure, wow!:

One question if I may, what did you use for the weathering on the lower hull and running gear - looks perfect to me and this is something I always struggle with.

Hiya Alex, no worries mate always better late than never, with the forum so busy with so many great GB's we all miss smaller builds escape us from time to time, but not to worry have another Dragon Panzer 1 ready to go in my stash ;)

to answer your question how I weathered the lower hull was just with Mig's European Earth pigment applied on a coat of the Matt varnish nothing else ;)

hope this helps

Have also watched your latest vid with the final reveal and was very impressed with the result. Your groundwork on the base is fantastic and I like the whole setting you've created on the dio. Very well done my friend !

P.S.: Please excuse my rare comments over the last while mate - I'm very busy at work and a bit short of time at the moment ! Hope that it will be less stressful here soon that I'm able to spent more time at the forum again. Anyways ... happy modelling until then my friend :cheers2:.
