HOMEMADE STATIC GRASS

Post by REDDEADSOLDIER »

Ever go to a hobby store to buy static grass or a similar product and it's way too expensive? Well, here's the best way to fight emptying your wallet. A trick sometimes recommended by model companies for applying camouflage to tanks, planes and more, is to use cotton balls. What you do is dab the cotton ball into some paint, then dab the cotton ball onto the model you're painting. You don't have to be painting, but what happens is the cotton ball dries, and if lucky it will be a flat piece of static grass-like substance that is the colour of the paint. These can be attached to a board of wood or cardboard to make a great battleground. :pistols:

Enjoy!
