Dragon Tiger 1 #6406 questions

Post by rcfanuk »

After seeing the excellent Tiger builds in the Coen GB I was tempted to get back into plastic modelling and have purchased the Dragon Tiger 1 late production #6406. I also have the ATAK zimmerit on its way, and will hopefully be able to join that GB.

I have a few questions for the experts on here, as this is a 3 in 1 kit, when I look at the colour schemes how do I know which version they are applicable to, i.e late, command or final version. I have watched Mikes video on reading the instructions so I think I'm ok there.
Also can anyone recommend any crew figures applicable to this tank and the possible regions it may have operated in, it would also be good if they were a reasonable cost, as some I have looked at were great figures but weren't cheap and I'm on a budget :th: .

Any pointers gratefully received.

Hey Steve,
The instructions provide a list of the colours, markings and locations of theatre for any of the options that are included in the kit, it also points out which is which in the instruction sheet.

As for figure sets, there are a quite a few that are availible just in plastic for late war tigers and all are under $20 us. I could provide a list but that would take a while. If you had an idea for a scene to depict I could maybe suggest a set or two that would fit your plans.

Thanks for the answer, I just couldn't see if for example, the first scheme '334' was a late, command or final build?
As for the figures I'll have a think about that and get back to you, but somewhere in Poland in the mud sounds pretty good

Tiger 334 is a late tiger, tiger 933 was in Poland though.
