Ship Virginity lost! 1/700 USS Momsen DDG-92

Bought this kit when I mistakenly thought the 'in the navy' sig would mean ships! Lol!

My first go at a ship, and I loved it! So much fun!

I learned the hard way that ships shouldn't be totally built then painted weathered etc. trying to paint and weather around all the masts and rails is not fun!

So next time I'll take a different approach and build in sub sections.

Anyway, here's some pics.









Kit is by Hobby Boss, and it's fantastic. Fits perfectly and includes two PE frets for the masts and railings. Highly recommended at £9.99!!
