My debut build, Dragon's Panzer III N

This is my take on Dragon's Pz III N in Tunisia. This is the kit that comes with the extended "winterketten" so I substituted a set of Tristar workable tracks. I scratchbuilt the jerry can rack The sand bags are a set from Panzer Art.














I made a small base.





Paint is Tamiya, mixed by the old Mark I eyeball. Weathering is a combination of oil, acrylic and enamels.

I just love Dragon's Panzer III series of kits. I have a Pz III J and another N in the stash, plus a StuG III C and an F8. They are well detailed that's for sure. I have a Tamiya Pz III N waiting as well.

Johng with a kit like this I like folks to see the tank, not just what all I did to it.

Outstanding work you did there. I have the G version from Dragon and the sandbag armor thinking I would build in a DAK version. I wasn't sure if that was a good idea until I seen your build. Again I really like what you done, my hat is off to you.

That's the good thing about DAK builds. Look at period photos and every platoon, company and regiment did the same thing, only different!
The build possibilities are endless.
