1/72 Scale, Hobbycraft DHC U-1 Otter

Post by muskegman »

This kit came with the option of wheels, floats and wheels with snow skis, I decided to go with the snow skis. Another simple kit with not much for cockpit detail but was a fun build and cheap.
Brush painted using Testors and Humbrol enamel paints.

Truly stunning - the finish you have achieved on what appears to be such a small model is wonderful. The union jack on the tail must have been a pain in the behind to position  .

Thanks for the replies guys :)

Thanks DC87 and yes the union jack was a bit fiddly but not as bad as trying to centre the mapleleaf inside the white circle  It took me a while to get those right.
