Dragon 1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.G (Finished)

Post by Oper8or »

Here is the only 1/72 I will ever do. I've learned my lesson. To small of a model for me to work. Wow the tiny parts. This is the finished product. I did the best I could do with the paints and wash on such small parts without something to magnify them and in lighting that gives you headaches after 20 minutes. :)

It's not as bad as you think bud. Working in small scales like this is much harder than the larger ones.
Many think that the kits are small and simple, but small means that it's really hard to preserve detail, and make it look untoylike. There's so little room to work with all of your effects can run away on you if you aren't careful.

I respect anyone that can work in the gentlemen's scale and have fun with good results, it's a challenge.

Thank you Coen. I talked to the wife and I am going to get a magnifying visor. I'll use it even on the larger scale models. Should save some headaches. I might redo this model. I'm not sure yet. Its worth considering. I'm kind of OCD. :)
