1914 Ford T with British staff Officer

Post by fly1ngdutchm4n »

A 1:35 kit from RPM with a lot of flash, missing or broken parts.
Build out of the box and added a figure from D-day miniatures.

Enjoy!

Very nice build
What pops in to my mind is the low amount of details on the car
Or it could be that i just don't know enough about the model T but you would expect more details on the car body like rivets and that sort of stuff
The figure looks great though and it proves to me i need to paint more figures for my builds and get better at it

When is your big move going to start btw

The car could do with a little bit more weathering, like on the tyres.
But that's my opinion.

For the rest a very, very nice result :
Specially the paintwork off the figure, the colour off the wooden rims and off course the complete setup

Thanks Mark! Yes, this kit does have a lack of detail, but the real Ford T didn't had much details for itself anyway.
Besides it's mainly the Ford T frame with a wooden construction on top of it.

My big move will be on October the first. So it's coming up fast now.
This was my last model I've completed until moving.

As for painting figures, Practice make perfect :thumb2:

Jup. that's the only thing forgotten... I will add some dust and earth to it later.
I was so busy painting the figure and placing it on the dio that I forgot it.. lol
Thank you! :D
