1/48 Tamiya F4F-4 Wildcat VGF-29 USS Santee

Post by wally »

Hello Folks

This is my latest build. It is my entry to the Carrier-Based Aircraft GB on another forum.
What can I say this was fantastic kit from Tamiya, goes together like a dream.
Painted in Gunze paints from USN Aircraft set and Tamiya XF-19 Sky Grey, weathered with various enamel washes and pigments.
So here it is hope you will like it :)

You can get them quite cheap if you shop around. I think I paid £16 for my profipack version.

Wonderful weathering! I love that sky grey color.
