old M163A1 vulcan spaag

Post by Pierce »

For Christmas my Dad gave me a kit which he bought 19 yrs ago when he was stationed in Korea. It is a Acaemy 1/35 M163A1/1 Vulcan SPAAG kit #1360. I have never bought after market anything for armor. I would like to get metal tracks and anything else but is there anything out there for such an old kit. If they're is where would i look.

Being based on the M113 I would guess you could use a set of M113 tracks if you're looking to improve those.
There's apparently also a Verlinden M113 interior set though I'm not sure how much of that would be useful in the modified vehicle.
Master Model makes a turned brass barrel set: http://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/masgm35001.htm Pretty cheap too
That's from a 10 minute Google search, maybe there's more
