A question from a newbie

Post by Cole4ord »

Hi all

New to the website after recently returning to model making after many years.

I'm sorry if this isn't the correct place to put my post but I had a question for you more experienced modellers.

I have taken the plunge and purchased my first airbrush, a Harderand Steenbeck Ultra along with a standard 1/8 hose. I am borrowing a compressor for now.

I have been eagerly awaiting my delivery and was excited to get home today to find my airbrush had arrived but on sitting down for my first go I realise it won't connect to the hose. It has some sort of quick release fitting but it doesn't correspond with the hose I purchased.

Can anyone give me any advise or a link on what I need to purchase so that I can connect the two?

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

If it's like my evolution then the quick release will unscrew, leaving the standard size threads exposed. Hope this helps.
If it looks right, it is right.
