Longest name ever. I see this as more of a support build to ISM forum. I shuld not jinx myself, but joining all GB and finnishing all of them this year wuld be a nice goal anyway. I still have no clue about Aircraft or modern flying thingys, they are fun to build I wuld love to be a master builder of theese birds, but practice makes perfect so here we go. This kit seems like a very nice kit as most of you know this aircraft is quite small almost like the Swedish JAS gripen I built previously, this one is going to be straight out of the box. By the looks of it everything is nicley molded with sharp details. Will start as soon as my other build is complete and ready for paint its now at 98%.

So the build was fairly easy, its not a great kit and lacks a few details,Its not horrible and fits quite well, a little gap in the wing roots. It wuld need more work than Im willing to put down, Ill rather spend it on 1:32 Tamiya F-16. It wuld requier much more studying wich is not my goal here with this build is just to have fun and work on my skills building aircraft. It required alot of masking, I shuld have painted the wings off.

Not that many parts they all fit well exept the little gap you see here. Paul asked if its missing its riveting on some panels (the ones in each corner)and it seems like it does on some, I had already primed basepainted at this stage so its left the way it is.

Here I have primed in white and using Valejo air, wich comes out as not more than a glaze a very light yellow, not what I was looking for. I tried to mix in som Dunkel gelb and red, but still the same.

Finally got tired of it all and found a jar of tamiya wich worked perfectly and I must say Im turning twoards getting more Tamiya and Mr hobby,Akan like paints, Ill just have to mix/thin myself, when your building aircraft its a whole different game when using a AB IMO.






Got the blue basecolour down Mixing Tamiya flat blue and white, did some paner shading and mottled in some dark patches, and dusted it. Again thanks to some handy tips from Paul, I think it went ok. I can see now that the pictures has alot of yellow light in them from the masking tape and lamp, but I will take others in my white light.


More masking and painting of the exaust, black on the outside and white on the inside. I also Painted the details and weapons, and salvaged 2 extra bombs from another kit. Now for the unmasking detail painting clear parts and landingear. Then gloss. To be continued

Well after all that hard work with panel fading mottling and god knows what, on with the gloss and its almost gone, anyway, Iwe lerned a few things, and go better at using the AB, ned time Ill go even lighter, So here is the final pictures. WIll post the finnished build in the final build thread. It was all and all a good kit, not too much hussle, and good for a beginner on Modern aircraft like me.
